When i say " Tai Jor La !!!!"
do you feel " ei ei ei !!! ... I know! "
or do you familiar with it ?  :D

When I discussed about Digi "hou wong" in the previous post , I has no idea why it remind me of the Astro On demand advert , " Tai Jor Lah !" ad campaign and also the P1 'Potong' ad.
(they just suddenly pop in my mind )
When say about language , these are first come to my mind that, by using just tagline , it gives me an impression. So, i wonder are they using the 'same pattern' in somewhere ..maybe .
Before that , let discuss about this "Tai Jor La~~~~~~" video.

This advertisement's popularity lasted when Astro promoted the value proposition of Astro on Demand, which is to enable Astro customers to watch and enjoy the latest TVB drama the same time it premieres in Hong Kong. At the same time, it connoted a message to convince the audience to support anti-piracy.  What is the sign ?  The DVD seller character himself is an iconic/ identity on selling the pirated dvd. He is a signifier to pirated dvd and in the video he keep mention the number '9'' , ''gao zai (canto)'' , '' sembilan'' are all arbitrary to signified the pirated DVD as well. As a result, the customers answered are all same which is " Tai Jor Lah! (canto)" which mean "have seen it". The connoted message of this "Tai Jor Lah" is actually saying that with Astro On Demand, allows audiences to watch the TVB dramas at the same time as in Hong Kong, which they don't have to buy the pirated disc anymore to catch up the dramas.

..
back to my question the similarity between the Digi "Hou wong ar" , P1 " Potong" and this AOD " Tai Jor la"
I guess the similarity is creating a curiosity to audience before review the product and of course there are hidden message .
Like the Digi "hou WONG ar" but what is that ' wong ' ?
P1 , " sudah Potong ? belum Potong ar? " but what is that to ' Potong ' ?
and so do Astro , " Tai jor la " .. but what is it that stream faster than the pirate dvd ?
