How do you judge real or false ? 

Below photographs are my previous "Self Portrait" project for my photography assignment.
Both pictures of showing the fat side of me but what's real? 
People who do not know me will trust what they see as REAL but 
to people who know me in person , they will know this is false as i act to be fat for curiosity.



Ps :" this is the world as i experience it "

So, the photograph itself can say is real but it also can say is false in reality.


In my point of view, 
Besides those superb imba 3d portrait that really 99% looks alike the real person, or photographs that capture the real person
i think even if just caricature can determine whether is true or false . 
It is depend on how much you understand the work itself.
For an example , the below character design of myself , once i show my classmates , most of them tell me the same things. Before tell, they laugh first . LOL and say
"Look like you lehhhhhhhh abu" 
so , will this known as REAL to them ?
